Tips for Running in Cold Weather

Keep your feet in good health by wearing proper shoes during cold months. Avoid wearing shoes that have a lot of open mesh that can let in cold and moisture. Instead, opt for a shoe that is lined or water resistant. Wearing a pair of warm socks that are a wool synthetic blend will keep your feet warm while wicking away moisture. Lastly, it gets dark earlier in winter months. Be sure to wear reflective clothing when running during the evenings. Allow others to see you by wearing fluorescent clothing and carrying a flashlight.
